Intel Said to Plan Thousands of Job Cuts Amid Ongoing PC Market Slowdown

Intel is said to plan several job cuts across the company, according to a report. The layoffs are planned in the face of a drop in personal computer sales, and will reportedly be announced as early as this month. Some divisions could see layoffs affect 20 percent of staff, and Intel had 113,700 employees as of July, as per a report by Bloomberg.
