Apple is said to be shutting down an in-house effort to design its own microLED screens to be used in the Apple Watch and other products. The display project was part of a broader push by the iPhone maker to design more of its technology in-house. Apple is also said to be cutting jobs and rearranging teams as the project is being wound down.
