Instagram is back up after thousands of users were unable to access the service on Friday. According to outage-tracking website Downdetector, nearly 24,000 users were impacted by the outage and were unable to access the photo and video sharing service. The company acknowledged the error and said it was working on a fix, and access was restored within an hour.
